If You Have to Leave Florida...Visit Ireland!

For a great equestrian vacation in Ireland, with lots of horse riding available in all disciplines, particularly show jumping, cross-country, or dressage, with full board accommodation, or just bed and breakfast, Annaharvey Farm has it all.

I had the pleasure of vacationing at AnnaHarvey last summer, and it was a vacation experience that I will never forget!

Located in the center or Ireland, Annaharvey is set on 380 acres in the beautiful countryside of Tullamore. Annaharvey has a cross country course consisting of over 130 obstabcles that range from simple logs to an Intermediate Horse Trial event course. They also have a dressage ring, a jumping ring, an indoor ring and miles of bridle paths.

Twice a year Annaharvey runs Eventing Ireland one day events. The course has been designed by Tommy Brennan International and European Championship course designer . They run Training, Novice and Open Intermediate Classes ( or CCN* & CCN** by FEI terms ). This course is available to Annaharvey's guests who want to train to a very high level at cross-country and they also have the horses to suit.

Family run and set in a restored grain barn, Annaharvey offers full board, partial board or bed and breakfast accommodations. All of the rooms are en-suite (have their own bathroom), three of them are family rooms and four rooms are twin/double. If you are looking for wonderful meals, you will not even need to leave the premisis. Each meal is wonderfully prepared from the traditional full Irish Breakfast to the gourmet quality lunches and dinners.

Located on the Annaharvey property is Annaharvey Farm Foods. Annaharvey Farm Foods is run by Rachael Deverell who is determined to maintain the high quality and attention to detail that has become the standard at Annaharvey. They feature a full range of homemade farm foods include Biscuits, Breads, Cakes, Desserts, Jams, Chutneys, and Hampers. Believe me when I say-- It's Delicious!!!

The horses and ponies at Annaharvey are wonderful and great care is made to make sure that you are mounted properly. Whether it's riding out on the cross country course, brushing up on your dressage skills, taking a show jumping lesson or just hacking out in the countryside, Annaharvey has what you are looking for.
